GUITAR AND MANDOLIN LESSONS

Kirby Smith is the founder and co-owner of Smith and Whitley Music.  Kirby has over 35 years of teaching and playing experience.  His teaching specialties are Guitar and Mandolin.  On guitar Kirby is most influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Tony Rice.  While on mandolin Kirby admires the playing of Sam Bush, Bill Monroe, and David Grisman.  You can find Kirby teaching and working at Smith and Whitley Music, or on stage with his band "Blueridge James".  You can also check out Blueridge James on Myspace at www.myspace.com/Blueridgejames
